The Glass and Glazing Federation is the true watchdog of the industry.

Glass and Glazing FederationThe GGF is the trade association for companies making, supplying and fitting glass and is the recognised industry leading authority.

The GGF is also an approved scheme operator for TrustMark, a Government iniative to raise standards in the building industry.

Paramount Windows and Conservatories is proud to be associated with the GGF, and in being a member follows a strict code of conduct ensuring the quality of our products, service and workmanship complies with the GGF standards including;

The GGF Code of Good Practice

Provides you, the householder, with the following safeguards:

  • Any deposit you place with Paramount Windows and Conservatories is safeguarded by the GGF's own Deposit Indemnity Fund, up to 25% of the contract price or £3,000, whichever is lower
  • We abide by the seven day 'cooling off' period which applies to all contracts negotiated away from business premises. This is irrespective of whether you invited the sales call or not
  • All glazing we install is up to the current safety requirements of the British Standard BS 6262-4: 1994
  • Samples we show are representative of the products we install
  • All advertising is a true and accurate description of the products we offer

  • Before becoming a member, Paramount Windows and Conservatories has been subjected to careful vetting
  • We have satisfied the GGF of our intention and ability to abide by the Rules of the Federation

  • The GGF monitors the performance of all Member companies. This ensures that the standard of the products, and installation achieved, remains consistantly high
  • The GGF will also offer independant advice and guidance on any queries you may have Further, the GGF visits all its members to inspect the last three years’ trading accounts as well as taking up references, and we must work to a code of ethics and technical standards laid down in its glazing manual.
